1) Fill up job upgrade application at Geffen. Go to the Blacksmith Guild and look for Guild staff Altazen (110,172) to apply.

2) Then head up to Alberta and look for Getsufenst (inside weapon shop 174,22). He will ask you 10 of the following questions : (Note you need to answer all questions correctly)

3) Next, Getsufenst will check his paper and ask for your help to collect materials to forge a particular order. Then you are required to deliver the weapon that has been successfully forged by him to a particular NPC and get a voucher after the delivery. (Note: Before you pass the weapon to Getsufenst, make sure you only have 1 of the weapon, keep all your carded or elemental weapon of the same type in storage or cart before talking to him.)

The following are items needed and the NPC to deliver :

E) Telpitz in Payon

4) After you finish delivering the weapon, take the voucher and head back to Alberta and pass to Getsufenst. Now, look for Altazen in Geffen again. He will ask you to find Mitmair at Morror (95,133). Mitmair will again ask you 5 questions from the following :

a) What do you need to learn Discount?

• Options : Pushcart Lv 3, Identify, Mammonite Lv10, Enlarge Weight Limit Lv 3
  
• Answer : Enlarge Weight Limit Lv 3

b) What is the effect of blacksmith skill "Hammerfall''?

6) If you get all the questions right, you will receive a Hammer of Blacksmith. Next return to Geffen and talk to Altazen. Congrats you are now officially a blacksmith

• If you have a job change at Job 40, you will receive 5 Steel


• If you have a job change at Job 50, you will receive 30 Steel
